FAQ
When should I arrive for a class?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the class start time, to allow enough time to place your mat, fill in water bottles, and get props.
Classes start at the advertised time in our schedule. We may lock the front door during the class.
What should I wear and bring?
- Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move freely.
- Bring a mat if you have one. Let us know if you need to borrow a mat, we have spares.
- Bring a water bottle.
You can bring other props as well if you like, but everything else that’s needed for the class (blocks, bolsters, straps, etc.) is provided.
Where can I park my car?
There’s plenty of free parking at the studio (within the Basepoint Business Centre). Park in any free bay. The parking is free. For stays over one hour (so most classes), you will need to scan a QR code and register your vehicle by registration number. We can also do this for you.
Where can I park my bicycle?
There are covered bike racks in the parking lot.
Can I cancel or reschedule a class that I booked?
Yes, up to 6 hours before class start time.
- for drop-ins: reschedule and cancel up to 6 hours before class start time. If you cancel you get a full refund.
- for unlimited memberships: reschedule and cancel up to 6 hours before class start time.
- for class packages or credits: reschedule and cancel up to 6 hours before class start time. If you cancel, the credit will be added back to your account so you can book another class.
If something comes up last minute and you can’t make it (or couldn’t make it) please email us at breathe@studiosattva.co.uk and let us know. At our discretion we can reschedule your class.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes! Please do! If you’re on the unlimited membership you can bring a friend for free once a month. Our booking system doesn’t have this feature so please email us to reserve a spot for your friend. We will need their name and contact info for our records.
And yes, you can bring the same friend every time. This is a genuine perk of the unlimited membership, not just a marketing tactic.

Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. Anytime. You need to cancel before your next renewal.
Note there are no partial refunds though: if you’re on a monthly membership, the current month is not refundable or cancellable, but you can stop the membership from renewing.
How does the summer offer membership work?
It’s a reduced price unlimited membership. All new memberships and renewals that go through before the 31st of August 2025 are at the reduced price (£48/month instead of the full price of £89/month). After which they will renew at the full price. You will get an email from us at the time to inform you of the change.
How long in advance do I need to book classes? Can I just show up?
We kindly ask that you book at least 1 hour before the class starts.
All classes on our timetable will run whether there’s just one person or a full group — but as a small studio with a small team, we may cancel classes if there are no bookings an hour before the start time, to avoid unnecessary travel for our teachers.
So if you’re planning to join, please book ahead when you can!
Where are the toilets?
There are toilets in all corners of the Basepoint Business Centre. The closest to the studio is on the right hand side before you walk in (or left hand side as you go out).
Where can I fill up my water bottle?
We have a water tap in the studio, so you can help yourself here.
Are there showers?
There’s a shower available to use at the business centre.
