Experience comfort beyond the mat
When you unroll your yoga mat, you’re usually looking for three things: dedicated space, reliable grip, and a comfortable cushioning layer.
Bur our yoga practice often extends beyond the mat. Whether it’s knees in Child’s Pose, the wide stretch of Frog Pose, or simply stepping off during a balance, your body connects directly with the floor sometimes.
We typically practice indoors, and many places where we practice yoga have hard floors. Hard floors can mean discomfort or reaching for extra props, sometimes slowing down your flow between poses. At Studio Sattva, we decided to go beyond just providing props. We’ve installed soft floors throughout the entire studio.
While your mat remains key for grip and personal space, our soft flooring adds an extra layer of cushioning and support that truly enhances your practice.
Here’s why it makes a difference:
- More comfort: Poses where knees, heels, hands, or elbows press into the floor (like Frog Pose) feel significantly more comfortable.
- Increased confidence: The forgiving surface encourages you to explore challenging balances and new poses with less hesitation. Tumbles are softer.
- Reduced impact: Minimizes any impact, especially when stepping or rolling off your mat.
Ultimately, we’re all about creating a space where you can truly thrive in your yoga journey. Our soft floors are just a part of that, helping you move freely, challenge yourself safely, and find deeper comfort in every pose. We’d love to welcome you to Studio Sattva.
